Swachh Sundar Shauchalay 2019 contest was launched by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation to fight the age-old practice of open defecation in rural parts and promote toilet usage under which rural households were asked to creatively decorate and facelift their toilets.
District of Dadra and Nagar Haveli (Rural Development) achieved 4th position under District level category.
