Swachh Sundar Shauchalaya 2019 National Awards
Swachh Sundar Shauchalay 2019 contest was launched by Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation to fight the age-old practice of open defecation in rural parts and promote toilet usage under which rural households were asked to creatively decorate and facelift their toilets.
UT of Daman & Diu achieved 3rd position under State / UT category and Diu District received special recognition.
