Highest Percentage of reduction in grade 2 disability in Leprosy to UT of DNH.

The award was conferred to the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli in the Good & Replicable Best Practices & Innovations Summit organized by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare at Kaziranga Assam at the august hands of Union Minister of Health.

National Award: The award was given to the UT of DNH for exemplary implementation of National Leprosy Eradication Programme which had brought down the Grade –II Disability to Zero. The prevalence rate of Leprosy also decreased from 7.3 to 3.6 in the year 2018.
